Clay and Colleen began their relationship 8 years ago (nearly to the day of the wedding) while attending Strongsville High School. Clay was a senior and Colleen a sophomore when their paths crossed in an Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps class. JROTC was more than a class and provided the means for students to develop as young adults shaping who they wanted to be in their local communities. Their friendship quickly blossomed into a strong relationship during their participation in color guard events, many community services opportunities, and other group events with their fellow cadets.
